Well, I have been "gone" for about 4 months. Now I have a legitimate reason for "leaving". As winter arrives, I begin coaching girls basketball. When this begins, training basically becomes minimal.
Although I try not to let myself go, it just seems to happen. Working out is limited at best, maybe 2 - 3 times per week. Intentions are good but time runs out. An example would be having 3 away games in 4 days.
However, training for Ironman USA officially begins tomorrow, February 16th. I hope to update my blog once a week. I have a lot of work to do but am hopeful things will go smoothly.
Time will tell.
